Description

Machine Operators safely conduct running multiple machines in and out of the warehouse. They will scan inventory, run forklifts with 10-15 ft poles, use turf cutting machine, load and unload products, and drive delivery trucks with turf to consumers. This individual must be punctual and efficient to process incoming and outgoing inventory. They will work closely with the general manager to ensure precision of inventory management with daily reporting. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Process customer orders. • Utilize machinery to cut turf to customer specified measurements. • Utilize a forklift to move and organize product. • Maintain accurate inventory and conduct inventory checks. • Ensure trucks are properly loaded and secured. • Safely drive delivery trucks • Ensure yard is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic. • Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and yard. • Organize end-of-day paperwork for office administration. • Lifting 50 lbs regularly REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Forklift certified • Two years’ experience general labor required; warehouse preferred • High school diploma or GED required. • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs without assistance, and 100 lbs with assistance. • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when needed • Basic Math skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Fluent in English and Spanish • Commercial Driver’s License • OSHA 10 certified
