I'm offering FREE piano lessons to you or a loved one in exchange for labor trades. I have 20+ years of classical piano training and a rudamentary education in jazz theory. Currently I still teach privately in waukesha. References available upon request. I would appreciate references for your work as well if you have them! My rate is normally 20/half hr, but I will offer them FREE to you or someone you know (child? Grandchild? Spouse?) in exchange for any of the following for my old 1924 home...and I of course dont expect one person to have all these skills, lol, pick what you're good at, I'll teach lots of people! We can work out a trade of how many lessons per hours of work, or how many tasks per how many piano concepts/levels learned. I will also provide all necessary piano curriculums for the student. --yardwork (grass planting and landscaping, planting of small garden areas aka hedges, flowerbed, herb garden, etc. --garage/shed organization (we have a huge garage that is not utilized well. Everything should have a place so we can park 2 cars in there again!) --LOTS of furniture refurbishing/repurposing: cabinet into buffet, old outdoor unfunctional bar into a functional bar, couch reupholstering, staining, etc. --skim coating and/or spackling old stucco ceilings and walls. (Or whatever process is advised to smooth to level 4 or 5) --wall and ceiling painting --basement work (heavy cleaning of floors, rug rip, cabinet removal including old sink, painting, flooring...) There is more also, but let's start there and see what happens! (Also willing to work out a reduced rate deal for ongoing piano lessons after the trade is completed, if lessons are still desired.) Lessons would be held in my home if agreeable (and if you're not allergic to bunnies!) or at a neutral nearby church location. Both located downtown waukesha. Will not do virtual lessons.
