We rescued a one year old, male Labrador retriever. We have a dog of our own, and are unable to keep him in our home, but we could not leave him at the shelter so we decided to help him find a home. He is suspected to be about one year old. He is about 53 pounds. He is a sweet and snuggly boy but can get a little food and treat aggressive with other dogs. He would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats. He is fixed and is up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative. He also has been given a month treatment of flea, tick and heart worm preventative. We bathed him and gave him a flea treatment to kill any fleas he may have had from the shelter.
We are asking $150 for him, but will consider a lower price as long as we trust he is going to a good home. He will come with his leash, collar and food bowl. We also have a kennel that you may have for him, but it will be an extra cost. We paid about $80 for it, but will give it with him for an extra $50.
He is a very nervous boy, and we are unsure of his past, so he needs a family who will love him and be patient with him. He also needs someone who will give him plenty of attention and care. His name is Max, but he will likely learn a new name if you decide to change it, as he did not have a name in the shelter.
