Description
Do you have a small bird that you need to find a new home for? Maybe you don't have the time any more and you want him to get more attention? Maybe the kids got a dog or cat for the holidays and it keeps attacking the bird? Or your spouse hates how much noise/mess the bird makes? Maybe you bought them only to find out you really don't like birds as much as you thought. I would absolutely love to give them a happy home with a lot of new friends! Their singing is, to me, one of the absolute best sounds ever. Right up there with the laughter of a baby.
Or maybe you just need a temporary bird sitter - vacation, work conferences etc - for a few days or longer.
I offer socialization with other birds - friends to talk to and get to know. I have a tried and true method for introduction. First, your feathered friend is in his/her cage where all of the birds can see each other. I do this for 2-3 days. Then I move the cage to where they are touching. This I do for 2-4 days. After that they join the flock in the big cage. The big cage has plenty of room for playing and for flying. Lots of toys that get switched out every week or two so they have constant stimulation. If for any reason the big cage isn't working I have several cages that I use when separation is needed.
I have one conure and quite a few parakeets, several of which I adopted through this ad. I'm pretty sure they would be happy to vouch for me and my flock.
You can text me, ask any questions. I'll send pictures of my flock and an audio recording so you can see and hear for yourself the home they will be joining. My silly birds are very happy. They are a bunch of happy little singers, occasionally as late as 10pm!
