Description
Beautifully maintained private sanctuary and home to a Private Resident 15 minutes outside of Woodstock, NY is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and responsible person to help manage the care of four miniature horses two to three days a week. Plus two to three additional shifts for the care of beloved indoor animal companions including cats, dogs, potbelly pigs, rabbits, and parakeets.
Currently seeking 4 or 5 days per week, 8 hours per day from 8 AM to 4 PM. Saturday, Sunday, and holiday shift availability is a must. Do not apply if you cannot work weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include grooming and feeding of the animals and cleaning animal pens. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a background in horse care and animal care.
Starting rate is $19 an hour with medical benefits applicable after a trial period.
Candidates who live 45 minutes to an hour outside of Woodstock, NY will not be interviewed. We will not relocate for this role. This is a live-out position. You must have reliable transportation.
