Golden Wood Pet Resort is hiring an Experienced Groomer to join our team. The Groomer will be responsible for building client relations and grooming a variety of dogs and cats to breed standards and client personal preference. Golden Wood Pet Resort has a full service grooming area with walk in bath tub, drying kennels and clip-vac system. Compensation can be negotiated based on experience. Responsibilities Include: -Provide effective customer service to clients -Maintain high standards of cleanliness, pet handling and grooming -Perform grooming according to breed standards and/or customer preference -Handle potentially aggressive or scared animals -Assist with other kennel tasks as needed (including cleaning kennel runs, feeding and exercising pets as needed) Requirements: -Must have prior grooming experience -Previous customer service experience -Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to various types of clients -Desire for personal and professional growth and to assist others with their personal and professional growth If you are interested in this position, please apply on Indeed.
