This is no longer the Jim Crow South, although many of you have refused to accept that the Confederacy actually lost the Civil War. So, for 150+ years the losers have restructured the loss into “respect for heritage”. No, it is not! It is clinging to beliefs that harm others by wrongly thinking we are not all equal under law and the Constitution. The Constitution guarantees Equality but the die-hard racists refuse to honor the Ideal. They also refuse to come into the Light of Truth and share the goals of American Idealism. When we all do better the nation advances! Empathy and compromise go hand in hand with Equality and Justice. You must see the world through the experiences of others. But, the new neo-trumpism is me...me...me...me! I’m the injured victim of the non-white invasion, I want my white privilege even though I have NOT earned it! Immigrants are willing to work harder to earn the privilege to be here. You aren’t willing to get up to change the channel if you lost the remote! Many of the current wave of children have walked over 1000 miles just for the possibility of having safety with the chance of “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Their own countries are so criminally controlled their lives are in constant jeopardy. The last administration (trump) intentionally made conditions worse by cutting off aid and instituting policies that increased the dangers within the Central American countries. Gangs and cartels, awash in drug money, are what overwhelm the small nations governments, struggling and failing to maintain law and order. What would make a family leave everything, including their extended families and possessions, to walk toward an unknown hope? Nothing less than complete fear of death at the hands of an uncontrolled criminal element. Nothing more than to hope to keep their children safe from the criminal element threatening them daily. Our governmental efforts must be at the scene of the problem, to assist making life in their own homes safe and secure. Our efforts must be there, stopping why they come, making their countries safer and more productive without having to participate in the drug smuggling. They need opportunity and security, and then they’ll stay home! Stupid people never solved a problem, that’s why trump failed at everything except stoking division But, you still cling to The Big Lie? You so want a white return so badly you continue to lie to yourself. You really do have Cognitive Dissonance! You seem immune to Truth! Why? Don’t like my opinions? Don’t read ‘em!
