Looking to Adopt a Small Breed Dog

I have two daughters ages 8 and 10 and am looking to adopt a dog. We are conscientious people who will take great care of the animal. Happy to pay a rehoming fee but not interested in purchasing from a breeder at a high price. Strongly prefer a dog that has already been potty-trained and has its preliminary shot. We are also open to adopting older dogs. Chihuahua and miniature or toy poodles are our first choice, but open to other small breeds as well.
