Salary: $14.00/hour Schedule: Flexible Evenings (15 hours/week) Apply Below: Job Summary: Maintains the cleanliness of work areas, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, other common areas and removes waste. Major Responsibilities: Vacuums, sweeps, mops, dusts and removes and disposes trash. Cleans and disinfects bathrooms including fixtures, floors, walls. Cleans kitchens. Cleans all glass surfaces. Ensures cleaning equipment is in good working order. Stocks areas with correct supplies including but not limited to toilet paper, paper towel, hand sanitizer. Submits work orders for building fixtures that are not operating as intended. Ensures chemicals and equipment are used as intended by the manufacturer and the Safety Data Sheet. Communicates professionally Other duties and special projects as assigned. Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED is desired. Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required. On the job training will be provided. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Attention to detail and good customer service. Effective communication skills. Able to work well with supervision. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. Follows HIPPA, security regulations and/or guidelines and always maintains confidentiality. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands: This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and twisting for the duration of shift. Some climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles resulting from cleaning chemicals or dusting. Work performed in an office environment as well as occasional group home projects.
