Industrial Cleaner Job Description compensation: $10 - 12/hour (TBD), plus optional benefits employment type: full-time Perform both light and heavy cleaning duties to maintain industrial building interior and exterior in clean and orderly condition. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying management of need for repairs. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, clean and sanitize restrooms, trash removal, etc) Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms Restock supplies in bathrooms, break room and common areas Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply rooms Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition Cooperate with all staff members Follow all health and safety regulations Requirements: Proven work experience as a cleaner in an industrial setting Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Knowledge of safety protocols such as disposal of chemicals and other hazardous items Comfortable with basic landscaping and maintenance tasks Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently High school diploma is preferred, but not required Physical Demands: Ability to work 8+ hours on your feet and physical strength to lift 50 lbs Requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing 50 pounds Please submit a copy of your resume to apply for this position.
