Warehouse Supervisor for Manufacturing and Distribution Company Candidates will be considered for all positions. Many Employees needed currently. Miami Manufacturing and Distribution Company is looking for an energetic, skilled, and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join the Team. Must have work experience and be a hands on individual to manage warehouse & provide direction to warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will show demonstrated success in warehouse & distribution management principles. They will be responsible for all warehouse functions in our facility and will ensure that every order entered is selected, packed and shipped for timely delivery in the most efficient manner. Must ensure that all shipments received are checked properly and stocked with organization. The warehouse must be kept clean and in order at all times. This will involve an initial clean up and organizational process throughout, then ongoing inventory control, material handling, receiving and order fulfillment duties.. Responsibilities: - Receive all incoming shipments to the warehouse, this includes checking and documenting each shipment. If there are any issues a report must be made and followed through until the issue is resolved. - Keep an organized file of all inbound and outbound shipments. - Manage stock control, keeping inventory count, stocking & organizing shelves, and ensuring efficient space utilization. Submit purchase order requests for materials and supplies. - Pick, Check, Package and Ship orders in a timely manner. Log all shipments and create manifest when necessary. - Generate Shipping Quotes - Drop off packages at the post office if necessary. - Analyze existing processes and workflows, identify problems, and implement improved methods and procedures. - Provide motivational leadership and direction to all associates to achieve safety, quality, and delivery. - Ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained across all departments and shifts to achieve the most efficient productivity. - Establish, communicate clearly, and implement team goals and priorities while promoting positive team and company morale. - Inventory control, physical counts, and planning future capacity requirements. - Supervise warehouse employees and maintain staff by recruiting and training. - General day to day tasks as required. - Establish and maintain a clean working environment. Skills / Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED plus two (4) years of warehouse management experience. - Demonstrated excellence and skill with regard to critical-thinking and analysis - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Methods and techniques of manufacturing, packaging, receiving, shipping, and storing equipment, materials and supplies. - Principles and practices of safe operating of equipment, driving, and health and safety regulations, and record keeping. - Basic mathematical principles and follow oral and written directions. - Maintain confidentiality of privileged information obtained in the course of work. - Highly ethical and strong integrity - Experience with process optimization, project planning and budgeting - High integrity, ethical, with ability to act with discretion in sensitive matters - Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry Skills, and Dependability. - Operating forklift, hand-truck and pallet jack to move heavy freight. - Excellent written and oral communication skills English a must, Bi-Lingual a plus - Have reliable transportation, show up punctually and be ready to work full time with potential for overtime. - Must be able to lift 95 lbs. May require lifting, climbing, working on slippery or uneven surfaces, bend, kneel, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time, ability to hear and speak in abnormal room sound conditions, and lift horizontally and visually. - Energetic and able to work quickly and precisely under pressure Working Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am through 4:30pm. Starting at $25,000-$45,000 depending on performance and work experience with room for growth.
