The marble goby comes from Asia and is the world's largest freshwater goby that can get around 18 to 24 in. I have had mine since he was tiny he is now currently 9 in. He loves feeder fish but to keep him healthier I drop in pieces of shrimp or krill or tilapia or blood worms to minimize the possibility of him ingesting diseased fish. He actually can breathe air and I hold him all the time to the service of the water he just sits in the palm of your hand it is awesome. He is around 2 in in width and feels like a couple rolls of quarters when you hold him so he is quite girthy. A nocturnal predator, he likes to sleep in caves during the day and is very active at night swimming about looking for smaller fish. Currently freshwater but have also been found to acclimate to brackish Waters without an issue. My absolutely favorite fish I've ever owned I am just going to saltwater route at this time. Rehoming fee is $120. Worth every penny
