Position Summary: Maintenance Assistant * Performs general maintenance duties including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring installation, general construction and grounds maintenance, and cleaning. * Maintains tools and equipment through scheduled inspection, servicing, and cleaning programs. * Performs preventative maintenance on facilities, grounds, equipment, and vehicles. * Performs daily inspection and cleanup of grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and residents. * Performs snow/ice removal as needed. * Assists Supervisor in inspection, monitoring, and recording safety equipment including alarm systems. * Responds to work orders and management requests for service in a timely and professional manner. * Minimum of 1-year experience in one of the following - basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting, or drywall repair. * COVID-19 Vaccine mandated and available to new hires. * Fills in for Supervisor in his absence as needed.
