African side neck turtle needing a home ASAP!

I got this turtle from a friend, and I do not have the proper setup to keep him long term. Unfortunately he was kept in a aquarium that did not have proper lighting so he has some shell rot. Really looking for help with this! My friend gave him to me and I am trying to re-home. Also known as a Madagascar mud turtle, they stay smaller than a red eared slider, around 8 inches.
