All instruction will take place in the Courtyard Tacoma Downtown. OVERVIEW: The primary goal of the CBI course is to prepare all Air National Guard officers, NCOs, and future leaders to work together as a team to identify and respond to contemporary base issues. Topics will be discussed via lecture and student interaction over a two-day period. Course instruction begins at 0730 and ends at approximately 1630 each day. ORDERS/FUNDING: This message is sufficient justification for orders to attend this course. Local unit training (not school) funds should be used. UOD: ABUs, OCPs, flight suits, or any combination of blues are authorized. REGISTRATION: Register at https://angcbiwa.eventbrite.com. TRAVEL/LODGING: Each registrant is responsible for his/her own travel reservations. If applicable, travel days are 9 June 2021 and 12 June 2021. The Sea-Tac Airport (SEA) is the closest major airport. The Courtyard Tacoma Downtown is 21 miles from the airport. Shuttle services are not offered to/from airport by local hotel. Rental cars recommended. Parking available at hotel ($16 a day). Block of rooms available under National Military Course. LANDING FEE/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The registration team will collect a $10 landing fee Friday morning, prior to the start of the course, to cover the light snacks and beverages to be made available on Friday and Saturday. All meals will be "on your own" during the course; there are a number of eateries in and about the local area within reasonable driving distance. Note-taking/reference materials will be provided; no preliminary work is required to attend this course. Registration will be open by 0630 on Friday to allow all attendees enough time to check-in, pay the landing fee, receive all course materials, and be in a seat by the start of the course at 0730.
