Summary Distribution driver is responsible for ensuring accuracy of orders being transferred, following detailed route instructions, transporting the orders accurately and compliantly to the customers, handling cash and monetary payments from customers, and providing excellent customer service during transfers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods Pack and load products into vehicle according to company’s specifications Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes Maintain ongoing communication with director of distribution Unload goods as per client specifications Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Be able to drive for extended amounts of time Be detail oriented and accurate with orders and money Be able to comply with marijuana compliance regulations for the state of California Be good with time Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience/Skills: 1+ year of delivery driving experience preferred Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office, data analysis, Google Apps and QuickBooks Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Marijuana Agent Card issued by the City of Coalinga Active state-issued driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written Spanish proficiency a plus Must be able to pass a background check Must have an excellent driving record Must be 21 years of age Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Travel Requirements: Driving orders from Coalinga to various territories throughout the state of California Wyld Ways Adheres to company core values Must be an excellent role model and representative of Wyld and its brands Excellent attendance Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills Positive, goal-oriented demeanor Compensation As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
