BG FuZion presents drag from The Illusions of Bowling Green, The Framed Fatale, and hometown favorites to benefit Xclaim! Youth Theatre! Join the fusion of Bowling Green's thriving Drag community with BG FuZion! In an inaugural event to benefit Xclaim, Inc. (Bowling Green's Youth Theatre), the BG Drag Community has joined together for this fun evening in a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and all supporters of drag entertainment! Drag Shows at 9:30pm and 12:00am featuring this night's BG FuZion Cast. Doors open at 9:00pm. Open Drag Show at 10:45pm - Performers compete for Audience Choice Award! Masks are required. CAST PERFORMERS OF BG FuZion May 1 SHOW INCLUDE: From THE ILLUSIONS of Bowling Green: SAPPHIRE MYLAN is a Diva Extraordinaire at The Miss Fits Drag in Nashville, TN. She has performed Diskin Cider, Play Dance Bar and the Glamour City Pageantry System. Sapphire is known for her fierce looks and polished style. As show director for THE ILLUSIONS of Bowling Green, Sapphire is thrilled to support this joint effort for community! JAIDYNN DIORE FIERCE is the first Drag Queen from Nashville, TN to appear on RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 7). Currently performing as part of The Miss Fits Drag in Nashville, she is known for her outlandish costumes and bold style. Jaidynn has performed as special guest for both The Illusions and The Framed Fatale casts in Bowling Green and is thrilled to support this event and for community "FuZion!" From THE FRAMED FATALE: GORGINA GEORGE is one of the show directors for The Framed Fatale and force to be reckoned with! Known for her "edgy" style, Gorgina loves to explore the many forms of drag entertainment and push the boundaries. As a strong believer in inclusivity, Gorgina is delighted to be a part of this FuZion and encourages everyone to strive for diversity. SERENITY SWEETS is not just a sweet, pretty face - this fiery performer explodes onstage with plenty of spunk! Serenity enjoys various types of drag, from classic pageant style to newer edgier forms of presentation. As one of the show directors for The Framed Fatale, Serenity encourages others to explore their identities in performance and is excited to join this amazing group of entertainers! FEATURING HOMETOWN QUEENS: VENUS KNIGHT is a local celebrity and pageant-winning Queen, with titles in 2016, 2017 and 2018. After a brief hiatus - and a pandemic - Queen Venus has returned to performance and competes in the Queen Pageant System. Formerly a cast member of Cabaret La Cage in Bowling Green, Queen Venus has performed with both The Illusions and The Framed Fatale and is truly pleased to collaborate once again for such a great cause. GIA HALL is Bowling Green's First Lady of Drag and the Southern Kentucky's oldest living drag performer. With more than 35 years of professional drag performance and competition experience, Gia has participated in various local charitable performances, promoted professional and polished drag by establishing Cabaret La Cage in Bowling Green, and provided many local young performers opportunities to explore drag in a safe environment - she even opened her home for years to the communtiy. Gia is honored and grateful to be part of this evening of BG FuZion and hopeful for the unity it will bring to our community. OPEN DRAG PERFORMANCE at 10:45p: Are you ready to BRING DOWN THE HOUSE?! Do you have a new act or song you wish to perform? Are you interested in trying drag and don't know where to perform? Do you want to support our cause with your favorite song? Now accepting registrations for OPEN DRAG. Performers will present two songs each and compete for the Audience Choice Award! Audience members will mark ballots after the Open Show to select the night's winner. Come strut your stuff and support the children in a night of fun for the community!
