Pleasanton Trucking was established in 1980 as a company providing trucking services such as Transfers, 10 Wheelers, and End Dumps. Beginning in 1991, our company began offering custom material blends to landscape companies based on their individual needs. Our specialized products include mechanically blended materials such as Biotreatment Soil Mixes, Top Soils, Infield Mixes, Lightweight Soils, and Stabilized Decomposed Granite. We supply trucking services and materials to many landscape companies in the Greater Bay Area and Central Valley.
Candidates will primarily be responsible for making different types of soil blends and loading trucks with soil. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
Mixes materials to make custom soil blends.
Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
This position is full-time, runs Monday-Friday, some Saturdays with possible overtime work.
Forklift/loader experience preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Must be willing and able to load a transfer truck.
Must have basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Prior experience in the trucking industry preferred but not required.
Must be able to work as a team member.
