This is a dynamic position on our Facilities Team supporting our two San Rafael locations and occasional work at other outlying locations. The Facilities Supervisor is an all-around handy person performing custodial work, maintenance, room setup and breakdown for our many activities throughout the day, and other services as directed by the Facilities Manager. Additionally, the Facilities lead will assist the manager with providing direction to team members, vendors & contractors as well as communication and coordination of facility activities with other staff and departments. Responsibilities will also include the following: inspect facilities for compliance with maintenance standards; submit requests to vendors for materials, supplies and services; perform repairs on doors, windows, floors, gates, roofs, ceilings, etc., as well as basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and grounds maintenance (pest control, weed control, parking lot maintenance, etc.); maintain appropriate records and documentation. Monday-Friday. 11AM- 8 PM. Pay is $26-29/hour (DOE) depending on experience, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan, and more. Qualifications: Two years of experiences as a facilities coordinator or equivalent. Ability to perform custodial related duties and maintenance task to a high standard. Sufficient knowledge of various janitorial supplies, equipment and methods. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance). Valid driver's license. Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and vendors. Effective planning, organizational and time management skills.
