Hi there! I play bass for a pro Latin American Rock band out of Los Angeles, CA. However, I am looking for a local group to play with up here in the East Bay Area where I live so I can continually play and keep my skills up between shows. I'm an older, female bassist. I play: Rock, Latin Rock, Latin, Oldies, Motown, Reggae, some Smooth Jazz, Bolivian/Andean and Blues. I can sing harmony, read music and write my own bass lines. I also have a lot of experience playing in cover bands, too. I speak acceptable Spanish. I want to play as much as possible up here, when I am not playing down there. Weekend jams, even a casual backyard band experience is good, too, with the right people in the genres listed above. I am really very easy to get along with, very relaxed. No drugs/alcohol/tobacco.
