Onsite Resident Manager – Full Time We are looking to hire a resident manager position at a large 118-unit condominium property in Burien, WA. The resident manager requires general labor skills to help maintain the common areas and address maintenance needs around the property. Responsibilities • Knowledge of various maintenance functions and skills such as painting, general carpentry, janitorial work & pool/spa operations required • Assist with House Rules & parking enforcement around property • Maintain common areas by doing general maintenance work, keep areas clean & free of trash/debris as needed • Report maintenance issues & perform duties as assigned by the Board and Property Manager • Attend all Board meetings to provide property maintenance updates and keep daily record of activities • Respond to property emergencies • Meet vendors onsite for bids and oversee property projects to completion • Maintain & safeguard all property tools/equipment • Perform frequent property inspections of grounds, buildings & common areas • Meet the physical demands of the job position; lift over 50 pounds, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to walk entire property • Respond to owner inquiries and disputes Skills/Education • Ability to learn quickly & effectively apply knowledge to the job requirements • Basic computer skills • Written & oral communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Diplomacy / conflict resolution • Time management • Professionalism • Flexibility • General maintenance knowledge of plumbing, electrical and construction components is a plus • High School equivalence Experience – Prior resident manager experience or equivalent preferred Compensation – Includes onsite living unit for resident manager provided (which includes all utilities) by HOA plus additional salary DOE Benefits - Includes paid vacation time, holidays, sick pay and medical reimbursement If you are interested in this job opportunity please respond by sending a resume and cover letter with contact info for our review and we will contact qualified candidates.
