Description
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team, and manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our office. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome patients and greet people who visit the office. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing patient records and redirecting phone calls, processing patient payments, filing and making appointments. This position is Monday and Wednesday 1:45-7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 1:45-6:30pm, flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes patients positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. 14.00 per hour, please fax resume to 978/657-4326
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the officeAnswer, screen and forward incoming phone callsEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailPerform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
Skills
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar roleProficiency in computer operations/WindowsHands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)Professional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsHigh school degree
