WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI— The Menomonee Falls Police Department is investigating a wallet theft that occurred on Metro Market on County Line Road Thursday, according to a Wisconsin Crime Alert notice. A woman removed the wallet from a shopper's purse then used stolen credit cards from the wallet at Sam's Club in Milwaukee and Dick's Sporting Goods in Wauwatosa. The total fraudulent charges were for amounts totaling over $5,000, the notice said. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to please contact MFPD Officer Compton, reference MFPD case number 21-009653.
