NEW BERLIN, WI— The New Berlin Police and Fire Departments responded to a structure fire early Monday in the 2500 block S. Parkside Ct., according to a news release. Flames and smoke were shooting up from the attached garage of a single-family home. The New Berlin Fire Department and other agencies extinguished the fire, the release said. All occupants safely exited the residence and were not injured. No police officers or firefighters were injured, the release said. The fire is being investigated by the New Berlin Fire Department.
