Bring Out the Best in Young Golfers! Compete and play your way to one of the largest and most prestigious junior golf events in the world. Registration deadline: June 4 $75 registration includes: 18-hole competition round Tournament yardage booklet Driving range and putting green usage Tournament day lunchDivisions Offered: Boys Age: 10-11 12-13 14-15 16-18 Girls Age: 10-12 13-14 15-18 Determined by the golfer’s age on July 18, 2021 for Boys 10-13 and Girls 10-12, July 23, 2021 for Boys 14-15 and Girls 13-14, and July 28, 2021 for Boys 16-18 and Girls 15-18. Golfers may “play up” one division. A limited number of golfers in each division will advance to the International Championship provided they shoot the minimum qualifying score. Plus, if you qualify, you can build your golf resume and may have the chance to play in front of college coaches and recruiters. Junior golfers from DMM: South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Manitoba. Seven divisions will play in the one day 18-hole tournament. Seven divisions promoted by Optimist International will be included in the DMM District Qualifying Tournament. Seventeen (17) spots are available for the OI Junior Golf Championships. The too golfers qualify from 50 district qualifiers world-wide. The OI Championship is one of the largest and best-known Junior Golf Tournaments in the world and will be held at Trump National Doral Miami. The DMM and HAOC pay the registration fee for the OI Championship for at least one boy and one girl, and consider paying the registration fee for additional golfers and/or pay some travel expenses.
