HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Howard County has a total of 17,494 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 234 deaths. The state has 418,188 confirmed cases and 8,177 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 38,425 people have been hospitalized to date.
