Take control of your finances by building your monthly budget and reviewing several financial success tips. Do you wonder where all of your money goes? Do you want to start saving for your child to go to college or for your dream trip? In just over an hour, Gina Richardson, SAFE Credit Union's Senior Financial Wellness Educator, will help you create your very own personal/family budget and review financial tips that can assist you in improving your financial position, including understanding your income and expenses and setting savings goals. A budget gives you an action plan and clear picture of where your money goes. Learn how to start a budget and manage that budget even when your income fluctuates. You will find our presenter, Gina Richardson, at the intersection of Marvel movies, roller skating, R&B music, and Financial Health! Originally from Chilcago, Gina is the proud mother of two teenagers, and is also the creator and host of the Mindfully Rich Podcast. With almost 15 years of financial industry experience, Gina provides a wealth of information to her audience to help them reimagine their relationship with money. She does this by using storytelling to speak life into others, while coaching them to more mindful of their finances. This workshop is being offered via zoom. Zoom details will be emailed to attendees the day before the event. IN-PERSON workshops will resume in May (stay tuned!) but in the meantime, CHILDCARE WILL BE OFFERED IN OUR EMPOWERMENT CENTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP. If utilizing childcare, you may choose to engage in the zoom from our courtyard, a coffee shop or wherever you are able to be fully present and can return within ten minutes of the workshop's conclusion to pick up your child(ren). Aren't local or don't need childcare, stay home and enjoy! As with all events in our Empowerment Center, childcare is available for PRE-REGISTERED children, and dinner is always included.
