MTB-202 Drops if for intermediate-level riders who want to send bigger Meet at the 3&2 Ball Fields at the North end of the Blue River Parkway Trail system. New format with expanded curriculum. Now 4 hours of instruction and practice. This clinic uncovers the mystery of drop technique. Teaching you how to be in control from the ground up. Course Contents: Wheel Lifts, Progression, Hops, Drops, Pedal Punches, Landing Options, Body Position. Basic Goal: Successfully clear a variety of 3+ foot drops landing intentionally and predictably. Advanced Goal: Integrate a personal program to progressively advance your personal bests in dropping, adding either height or distance. WHAT TO BRING: A well-tuned mountain bike Flat pedals, NOT “clip” or “clipless,” or clipless pedals with a platform. Please remove cages from flat pedals if so equipped. Closed-toe shoes that are compatible with the pedals you’ll be using. It’s important that your pedals and shoes work together. Appropriate dress for the climate conditions. Check the weather. Dress in layers if necessary. Bicycle helmet Protective gloves Knee and elbow pads Hydration pack or water bottles Snacks (energy bars/gels/chews) Sunscreen Spare tube of appropriate size for your specific rim Basic repair tools (multi tool, tire levers, pump, etc.) Mosquito spray Protective Glasses and/or sunglasses and case Maximum attendees per clinic is determined by instructors, and will be optimized to guarantee maximum rider feedback from instructors. If tickets over-sell for an event you may get a spot in a different clinic session. Contact us if you'd like to schedule a larger group.
