Celebrate May Day with Heather of Life Garden Style! Join me for a "make and take" summer planter event! Kick off the spring season with flowers! Join us for a "make and take" summer planter event at the Friend Shelter in Platte Landing Park! Create your own summer flower planter to gift or adorn your porch or patio! Heather of Life Garden Style will lead you in building your own outdoor arrangement that will bring color all summer long. Each ticket includes: -A summer planter demonstration lead by horticulturist and seasonal planter expert, Heather Markway of Life Garden Style. -8", 10" or 13" pot (see diagram below), potting soil, summer flowers and plants -Demonstration and recipe so you can recreate your design again and again! *Please wear a mask and respect social distancing during the event. Hand sanitizer will be readily available. *If desired, bring gardening gloves to wear while planting. *The shelter house is located next to Grigsby Field near English Landing Park. There is ample parking in the area next to the shelter house. *Advanced ticket purchase required. Ticket sales end on 4/29/21. Cancellation Policy: Workshop Fee is non-refundable, but may be transferred to a different person if you are unable to attend.
