Construction Laborer PlayScapers, LLC, a NM construction company specializing in the installation and maintenance of park, playground, and recreation facilities, seeks Construction Laborers to perform a number of tasks from physical labor to assembly of equipment at recreation project sites. Job Description • Clean and prepare construction site by removing debris and possible hazards • Load and unload building materials • Measure, mark, and record dimensions for layout of equipment • Build and assemble recreation related furnishings and equipment • Dig footings, backfill holes, and prepare construction site • Operate hand tools and other equipment used in construction • Maintain facilities at recreation areas • Follow construction plans and instructions • Assist Construction Foreman with other duties • Travel required, occasionally overnight • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites required Essential Skills • Basic math skills • Manual dexterity • Ability to work with different building materials • Ability to operate a variety of tools • Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding • Ability to lift 40 pounds • Punctuality and respect Education & Experience • Construction experience or landscaping experience preferred (training provided) • High School Diploma preferred • Must be able to pass drug test Compensation • $12/hour (dependent upon experience, with room for growth) • Lodging and meals while on travel (per diem) To Apply: Send cover letter and resume that includes work history with responsibilities, personal and professional skills, and education.
