JOLIET, IL — Former Joliet area state senate candidate Tom McCullagh has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help a local family whose two sons were seriously hurt in Sunday's wreck along Plainfield Road in Joliet. "Phillip and Valerie Juarez along with their 2 sons ages 8 and 14 were traveling in Joliet when a driver crossed the center divide and struck them head on," McCullagh's GoFundMe announced. "Phillip and his wife Valerie suffered major injuries and their 2 sons suffered life -threatening injuries." According to McCullagh, Phillip and Valerie Juarez are both active in the community and their local churches.
