MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —Manhattan Beach Library will be reopening its doors to the public on April 19. Visiting hours are still being determined.
"We're still working out specific details," a library staff member told Patch.
The public library is one of 30 in the Los Angeles County Library system to begin the process this month.
Select in-person services will include:
Browsing the collection and checking out itemsUse of public computers (up to 1 hour per customer)PrintingPickup holdsBrief reference interactions to assist in finding materials or informationFree Wi-Fi use To maintain public safety, visitors will be asked to maintain a 6-foot distance between other customers and library staff when in line and inside the library; wear a face covering at all times; follow posted directional signage; make library trips quick and efficient; and keep food and drink out of the library.
Currently, the Manhattan Beach Library is only offering curbside service for picking up items on hold.
