ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the homeless men, women, and children in SLO County 365 nights a year. Please consider supporting ECHO as we continue to provide and expand services to those in our county in need of assistance. ECHO is currently looking for volunteers to help with our Meal Server position starting April 2021 from 3:45pm - 6:00pm. Available days vary. The meal server position entails boxing up and passing out to-go meals during our community dinner program (about 60-80 meals). Volunteers are scheduled in groups of three, and are socially distanced from our dinner guests during shift. This position is best suited for people who enjoy working with others in a supportive role. Training for this position will be provided during the volunteer's first few shifts.
