ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police officers arrested eight people in recent days on charges of DUI. Here is information from the police reports: James L. Spirakis, 50, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of North West on charges of aggravated DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Police responded to a vehicle that hit a tree in the parkway. Dale E. Burk, 35, of Westmont, was arrested shortly before 1 p.m. Friday at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, DUI (drugs), possession of a hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, improper stopping in a roadway and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Eduardo Guadarrama Olvero, 56, of Des Plaines, was arrested about 2 p.m. Friday at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, disobeying a traffic signal, improper turn and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond. Jessica Casiano, 41, of Chicago, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on charges of DUI (drugs), failure to signal when required, tinted windows, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released on bond. Victor Hernandez, 36, of Chicago, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday at Route 83 and Roosevelt Road on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, speeding and illegal transportation of open alcohol. He was released on bond. Eileen Williams-Jackson, 57, of Lombard, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Route 83 on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. She was released on bond. Cassandra Tello Duran, 26, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at North Avenue and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, failure to signal and improper lighting. In the same incident, Guillermo Ocampo, 51, of Chicago, was cited on a charge of obstructing a police officer. They were released on bond. Robert Boston, 36, of Chicago, was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at York and Church streets on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper turn. He was released on bond.
