CYS Enterprises is currently seeking a hardworking, self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Janitor, or Custodian, in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Responsibilities: - Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing. This includes the use and care of floor cleaning machines. - Empty trash cans and replace liners. Clean receptacles, as necessary. - Dust and wipe down high and low surfaces. - Service, clean, and supply restrooms. - Clean and sanitize drinking fountains. - Perform emergency or non-routine cleaning, as necessary. - Follow all health and safety regulations. Qualifications: - Proven work experience as a Janitor or Custodian - Ability to handle standard cleaning equipment and machinery - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) - Ability to take initiative and work well under minimal supervision - Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary - High school diploma or equivalent - Current ID or Driver’s License and reliable transportation Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day (excluding holidays) Salary: $15.66 per hour Benefits: - Health and welfare ($4.54 per hour) - Paid holidays
