MOORESVILLE, NC — A homicide suspect from Randolph County who is believed to have ditched a stolen car in a Mooresville park has been located, according to Mooresville Police Department.
According to MPD, Brian Cody King was wanted by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office on charges related to a homicide in their jurisdiction.
On Saturday, April 3, a stolen vehicle believed to be driven by King was found in Edgemoor Park, located at 630 Ridgecrest Drive, prompting a search of the area by law enforcement, K-9 officers and drones.
By Sunday, however, the search was over.
"King was located in Cornelius and has been arrested," MPD said in a statement.
