Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 36 new cases of COVID-19. The seven-day rolling average or added cases declined.The District added no confirmed deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added confirmed deaths declined.The Department of Community reported four deaths from COVID-19 at area long-term care facilities, but only one of these is certain to have occurred in recent days.The seven-day rolling average of added cases of COVID-19 in Oconee County remained unchanged from Sunday, but the rolling average in Clarke County increased.The state of Georgia is last in the country in the percentage of residents who have been vaccinated for COVID-19.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
