Our state Reps and then Governor quickly passed the latest Voting Integrity laws, and it is going to bite them in the Ass big time in 2022. The question is, why did they even bother updating our election laws? Everyone who actually looked at all the information about all the things Trump, his lawyers and the rightwing talking heads told us about the election, knew by the middle of December, every thing was a lie. Everything! It is sad Kemps sole purpose once elected Governor was to insert his head as far up Trumps buttt as possible, but he did. We all know SOS Raffensperger was a Party First politician, until it came to Trump demanding he rig an election that took place 2 months earlier. Raffensperger was the only elected Republican in the USA to actually stand up to Trump. Gov Kemp did not back up his SOS. Lauffler and Purdue also had to open their stupid mouths and put more gas on a fire that should have never been lit. Sure a lot of you finally accept the reason Trump lost in Ga was because he started telling people mid summer not to vote by mail. A lot of old people wanted to vote by mail due to the C-19 pandemic, but Trump told them not to, and they did not want to vote in person. There's Trumps 11,780 votes! Then Trump flew to Georgia a few times to campaign for Lauffler and Purdue, and at every campaign rally he barely talked about the Senators, but instead would go on about Georgia's rigged election. Even republican campaign managers agree Trump cost Purdue and Loeffler their elections because he would not shut up about losing. I could go on for hours about all the lies we heard about the election and the repercussions, but for republicans, the repercussions have just started. SB202 has been unfairly covered by the Media and commented on by President Biden. Our basic network national media has barely if at all talked about the fact SB202 is still more liberal for voters than laws in several other states including NY and Delaware. And just like Trump minions who still believe the election was rigged, the Liberals who say it is racist to criminalize handing someone a bottle of water while they are in line to vote, are idiots as well! Numerous other states have similar laws that cover gifts at polling places, and the way Georgia's law was already written, our SOS was legally able to interpret it to include bottled water. Seriously people, we have to remember to take our own bottled water if we're going to the park, why is voting any different? Oh, the point I am getting at is Trump really lost the election fair and square, and the facts are easy to find. But because of all the trouble he caused, and the backlash to things like SB202, all republicans have done is guarantee an even bigger democrat turn out in Ga and a few other states next year. Here is what has been historically proven. Last year republican states that were smart enough to expand their Absentee Ballots, saw a legitimate higher rate of democrat voters using it than republicans. Once again, because Trump told his supporters not to. Next year the same mentality will be in play in Ga to some extent. I have no problem with our voter ID law, and at this point am glad it is the law. I agree that if someone is not smart enough to get a valid ID or DL, maybe they should not vote. The black community overall does not have a problem with people who want to vote but do not have a valid ID, any more than republicans. Trump has pretty much destroyed Raffensperger's chance for re-election. If he is not on the ballot next year, I will vote for who ever the democrat challenger is. Period! Kemp sent Trump a Love Letter last month hoping Trump will tell his supporters he was kidding when he called Kemp "a clown," and a few other things. Overall who ever Trump gives his support to for our Governors race next year will be the republican candidate, and Kemp knows it, well. There is no way I will vote for a Republican Governor next year, or vote for someone as far left as Abrams, but if the Democrats come up with a real centrist candidate who leans towards fiscal responsibility, I will vote for them. Right now kids, it looks like it will be up to Libertarian voters to decide. Based on last November, Stacy Abrams will most likely be our Governor in less than 2 years. And that could not happen with out SB202! Yes, I know a lot of you republicans are saying their won't be any fraud next year because of SB202, but the fraud SB202 will allow has yet to happen. SB202 gives our state politicians and governor power to over ride county elections to some extent if they think fraud is going on. The same fraud we did not have last year. Democrats are going to have all their P & Q's lined up well next year, so as the Cobb, Fulton and Gwinnett county precincts start reporting the democrat governor candidate is winning the election, what are republicans going to do? Now the second thing to consider about SB202 and the excessive power it gives our state representatives, what are republicans going to do when Georgia turns back to a Blue Majority state?
