hey y’all, my name is Elle. I’m 24 (about to be 25), mtf trans (it is of utmost importance that you’re cool about that), and I’ve been playing music and writing songs since I was a kid. Guitar, bass, drums, and synth are my specialties, along with engineering and producing, which I do on my own in my home studio, which is fully loaded with a drum kit, a guitar collection, and a vintage Roland Juno60 synth. I’m signed to Kill Rock Stars under the moniker Shaylee, which I’ve used as a vehicle for my solo output the past two years. You can find that music on YouTube or Spotify or whatever you prefer. now, the reason I’m making this ad is because I am sick and tired of playing by myself all the time. I need jam partners, preferably fellow multi-instrumentalists who’ve got a vibe that’ll complement mine. I’ve been getting really into Future Days-era Can lately and would love to try and accomplish that sort of jammy and droney but focused and consistently groovy sort of sound. Beyond that though, I love bowie, velvet underground, Fleetwood Mac, buzzcocks, spiritualized, talk talk, elliott smith, tortoise, cloud nothings, and destroyer to name a few. If you’re into any of that shit and you play a few instruments, let’s get together and jam sometime! bonus points if you’re queer and/or fem-leaning, absolutely no hard drugs allowed (I’m 8mo clean and taking it seriously), no Republicans or Qanon losers, and no chasers. please don’t hit me up if you’re just getting started on your instrument, i encourage you to keep playing on your own but my patience is minimal with musicians who take a long time to figure out basic stuff.
