Update: On 4/5/21, Detectives with the Atlanta Police Homicide Unit were able to determine probable cause and secure Fulton County Arrest Warrants for the suspect involved in this incident. The suspect, a juvenile male whose name is not being released at this time, was arrested by detectives without further incident. He is charged with: Felony Murder, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. was transported to Fulton County Juvenile Intake. This incident has been closed by arrest.

Preliminary Information: On Sunday April 4, 2021 at around 7:15pm officers responded to a report of shots fired at 1138 Woodland Ave NE. On scene the officers found an adult male in an apartment, deceased, with a gunshot wound. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No suspect information is available.
