JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle Saturday in Jefferson County. The man was found near 5th Avenue in Lipscomb just before 9 p.m. Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the investigation suggests the man was a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle, but the vehicle was not on the scene when deputies arrived.
