Flower Shop Delivery Driver + General Shop Upkeep/Maintenance compensation: $12/hr employment type: full-time Busy, fast paced, locally owned flower shop currently hiring an additional delivery driver to ensure that we put smiles on faces with fresh flowers and plants daily. Job also includes daily shop cleaning, flower processing, and general support of design team. In this position you are the face of our company, promoting the highest level of friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency. The candidate must have a clean driving record and a valid Texas driver's license and be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Required Skills and Experience: -Provide a clean driving record. -Provide a valid driver's license. -Demonstrate knowledge of the Greater Austin Area. -Be comfortable driving a cargo van. (Van is provided) -Knowledge of map reading and routing software. -Ability to use a smartphone on the web. (Phone is provided) -Basic computer knowledge. -Must be able to follow instructions with an excellent attitude. -Able to work Monday-Friday and on weekends as needed (flexible schedule required). -Fantastic Customer Service. -Problem solving skills. -Independent thinker. -Additional pay for event strikes (weddings, corporate events, etc – primarily on the weekends and after hours).
