These robots will transform the logistics industry and supply chains of our customers. Why we need you We are obsessed with supporting our Customers, and we are looking for other individuals who are eager to solve the problem, or figure out how. You are an agile thinker who draws on past experience, and you will often be navigating challenging issues as they arise in the field. The big task: If production is interrupted, you will be our first responder and eyes on the ground. Our remote support team will be there to train and assist you to get our customer's operation running at peak capacity. The daily tasks: -Diagnose and resolve issues with support from remote engineering team; this includes mechanical, electronic, and software systems. -Provide basic training on Dexterity products to ensure customers can successfully operate our robots -Assist remote engineers in deploying and verifying fixes by being our "hands and eyes on the ground" -Relay customer requests for improvements -Take part in a two-shift on-call rotation to address mission-critical incidents as they arise, with frequent OT opportunities -Assist regional maintenance manager in tracking inventory and system health -Travel to Dexterity customer sites as needed Desired skills: -Attention to detail -Ability to follow verbal and written instructions -Comfort staying focused in a fast moving, industrial environment -Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision -Experience as a mechanic, installer, or assembler Physical requirements: -Loud work environment with temperature change due to seasons -Able to lift up to 50lbs, and up to 70 lbs with assistance -Apply physical mobility (reaching, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, arm and leg extension) to perform all assembly production activities. -Possess extensive arm and hand mobility, dexterity and strength to lift, hold, reach, carry, push and pull parts. Also, able to move parts, tools, equipment and materials in and out of vehicles. -Able to see and judge distances and space relationships to successfully complete detailed activities to fine tolerances, including reading written plans and other documents.
