the infrastructure bill is nothing more than bringing the USA to heel, for the worlds green global movement, to shut down fossil fuels. America must have energy independence from other nations, to stay a world power. did you not learn anything from covid ? masks ? gloves ? ppe ? toilet paper ? a hybrid car is almost the perfect automobile, and cannot be beaten for its low impact on the environment. the car charges itself, and uses very little fuel to do so. full electric cars need energy to recharge, the amount of energy it would take to charge 1 billion cars in the USA everyday ? has anyone ever crunched the numbers on that ? 1 billion electric cars X how much electric juice it takes for a recharge = ? you know, the smartest plan for all the green stuff, would be to go by population divided by area, cities with high populations, should regulate their carbon output, by having people who live in the cities to own an hybrid or electric car. rural areas in a state with less population, could use, gas powered, and hybrid autos.
