General Construction We are looking for someone who isn't afraid of hard work. Paramount Log Homes has a job opening for general construction, main requirement is a willingness and ability to show up and work hard. Experience is welcome, but not required. We do all aspects of carpentry--framing, roofing, finish work, and setting logs. We can train as needed, as long as you are willing to learn. Job is quite physical. Need to be able to: Lift up to 100 pounds repeatedly Be on your feet all day Climb ladders/scaffolding Work on a roof Use power tools Do basic math Show up on time Take instruction Our jobs are located around Yellowstone County, sometimes a little further out, but we try to keep everything within 100 miles of Billings. We try to carpool when viable, and will pay gas and time for distant jobs, but your ability to get to work is important. We strive for a safe and drug free environment--(not looking for marijuana users or fools - tried that already). Will do random drug tests to help keep everyone safe. Cell phones allowed at work, but only for essential use. We often have customers and their families around, so a PG vocabulary is important. We're a small, family owned business, and so try to be understanding and flexible on needed days off and schedule accommodations. Lots of work coming up, so will have plenty of hours for you.
