North Village Group of Mt Prospect, IL is expanding our reach of construction and maintenance services and are looking to hire full-time skilled trades positions effective immediately. Our clientele is residential construction and renovation projects and multi-family neighborhood/condo associations where we seek further increase of our business. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in residential remodeling with strong trade knowledge, extensive hands-on carpentry experience, self-motivated, proven track record, excellent communication with ability to effectively manage and follow-up on multiple priorities. All successful applicants will be punctual, reliable, and have their own transportation. Clean criminal & driving records a must. Helpful Experience will include: Strong rough and trim carpentry background Ability to install framing, tile, trim, windows Kitchen/ Bath remodeling and cabinet installation Drywall (mudding, tapping, sanding) Structural Framing New Const./Remodeling Siding Sealant Interior/Exterior Painting Basic Plumbing & Electrical Roofing Floor installation (wood, laminate, tile) Team player who can work independently Operating Lifts/ Heavy Machinery Deck Repair and Replacement General Maintenance. Qualifications: Minimum 5-10 years in the construction industry and/ or trades Must have own tools fit for many job types Perform and assist in the completion of all aspects of trade work on home improvement projects.
