We have 100+ Section 8 homes inner city homes/ rental properties that we are looking for someone who can take on the work load of all repairs and maintenance. Applicant requirements- Must be presentable and able to deal with tenants and their needs. Must have reliable transportation i.e Truck/van to get from job to job and transport materials. Must have all basic tools needed for general contracting/residential repairs. A basic knowledge of all aspects of contracting consisting of carpentry/framing, light electrical ( outlets ceiling fans and light fixture replacements) Flooring, plumbing, roofing/siding and painting along with basic drywall repairs and the occasional driveway and chimney repairs. Must be trustworthy and reliable as this position is for an induvial who can take on work orders that have been approved and get them done in a timely manner while working independently. Applicant may also have to pick up materials at times and also meet state inspectors after repairs have been made for approval. Pay is starting at $15/hr but is negotiable and experience based.
