Precision Auto Body is looking to hire an auto body detailer! About Us: Precision Auto Body is a family run shop that has been in business for over 35 years. We are a highly rated select shop for multiple insurance companies, which keeps a high volume of work coming through the shop regularly. We are seeking a full-time Auto Body Detailer, to check in, clean and wash cars, check quality control and help with keeping the shop clean. Must be dependable, hard working, has reliable transportation, takes the initiative to do the job right the first time, a high level of integrity, possesses the ability to work in a high energy, fast paced work environment with physical endurance, team player. The Detailer is responsible preparing vehicles for the repair process by pre-washing vehicles, detailing and final washing prior to delivering the customer vehicle. Additional duties include helping keep the shop clean and safe. The Detailer position will: Pre-wash all vehicles before repairs begin Completely detail and clean (interior and exterior) vehicle for customer delivery Visually inspect every vehicle for flaws in repaired areas Complete check-in and final vehicle inspection sheets for every vehicle Assist with moving vehicles around the shop General shop maintenance and daily housekeeping of the production and office areas Other duties as assigned Required hours -- Monday -- Friday 8:00 a.m. -- 5:30 p.m. Skills & Abilities Requirements: Reliable work history, attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to receive direction and work well with others Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat and pull Ability to perform repetitive motions Strong attention to detail - Clear close vision required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
