Mountain High Appliance is seeking Appliance and Delivery Installers- NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Will provide training. Up to $40,000/year earning potential for entry-level candidates. Up to $65,000/year for candidates WITH experience. Job Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time Job Summary The Delivery & Installation Crew Member is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery and installation of appliances to customers. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure products are delivered and installed in a timely manner and follow scheduled route for daily deliveries. Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements. Load, unload and organize product inventory from warehouse to delivery truck. Observe and examine appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions such as loose parts or leaking fluid. Observe and test operation of appliances following installation and make any initial installation adjustments that are necessary. Refer to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides to diagnose and repair problems. Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliances and provide information such as emergency service numbers. Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds. Maintain vehicle cleanliness. Requirements/Abilities Possess a valid driver's license. Must have a clean driving record with no moving violations. Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to read and write in English. Ability to read maps and/or utilize GPS devices. Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts a plus. Professional disposition with the ability to provide a positive customer service experience. Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator. Excellent time-management and organizational skills required. Education & Experience Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent certification. Previous experience with delivery and installation of appliances preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, walk and crawl. Ability to stand, squat, kneel and dexterity to bend/twist neck and waist. Ability to walk up and down stairs/maneuver appliances while going up and down stairs. Ability for fine manipulation of hands as well as pushing, pulling and reaching above and below shoulder level. Physical ability to lift, pull and push products up to 50 pounds. Physical ability to lift, pull and push products that weigh in excess of 100+ pounds occasionally. Ability to carry items up to 6 feet occasionally. Working Conditions Weekdays, day-time shift with over-time as needed. Occasional evenings and weekends. Works in a customer's home but may be exposed to extremes in temperature while traveling. May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. May have exposure to dust, gas, fumes or chemicals. Occasionally climb stairs and work off elevated surfaces.
