Supervisor position requires ability/experience building gates from scratch and extensive experience with all tools required to build fence and install basic landscaping structures. $150/day + Job Description: • Have ability lead and supervise two to three members of a crew to successfully install or repair various commercial fencing projects throughout northern Co. Duties include overseeing safety, quality, production, layout and communication on all projects assigned. When repairs are ordered there may be days that you work alone. Skills desired: • Strong Leadership skills and the ability to oversee a crew of 2-3 in a professional and respectful manner • Safety and quality oriented – this position is responsible for the safety of all team members and the quality control for each project • Ability to teach and train new inexperienced crew members • Must have construction related experience or training including the ability to read and interpret plans and drawings as well as on-site markings such as grade stakes and corner stakes. Fencing experience is a strong bonus • Need to know the functions of hand and power tools and be able to use them safely (hammers, pliers, ratchets, angle grinders, porta-band saw, saws-all, Demo Saw, jack hammer, core drill machines). • Ability to lift 75-100 lbs. • Must be able to adjust to ever changing job duties throughout the day and report changes in scope to me. • Communication skills • Must have degree of mechanical aptitude and common mechanical sense • Must have own reliable transportation to get to my shop or jobsite each and every day on time. • 3- 5 days a week 9:00 – 5:00 (earlier and later may be needed on some projects) • Must be on time every day for assigned work report times. Punctuality is of high importance • Must be able to pass background check Required Qualifications • Must be able to work in the U.S and have verifiable documents. • Valid Colorado Driver’s license • Ability to read, write and speak English in a clear manner • Ability to operate ministeer, small hand & power tools. • This is a 98% field position. Must possess the ability to work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rainy, sunny and anywhere in between) Behavioral traits desired: • Sense of urgency: ability to appropriately identify what needs to be accomplished, take initiative to quickly prioritize level of importance and sets out a plan to get the work done. • Self-starter/self-finisher; the ability to see what is needed to be done from start to finish and complete all tasks in a timely manner. • Must be proactive in task completion and problem solving. • Strong leadership skills • Must be willing to be held accountable for actions
